Greetings everyone!
I recently came across some websites that were using articles that I wrote for other Sites between 1999 & 2004 under my pen-name of 'Mystikia'. I had thought a lot of these articles "lost", so was very happy to see that not only had some survived... but they had been shared & used elsewhere. So, dear reader, I thought I'd share some of them here, starting with "Creative Visualisation". Hope you enjoy.

CREATIVE VISUALIZATION
Creative visualisation is a technique for attracting into your life whatever you want.
I know this technique to work wonders, as I have personally been amazed by the results of performing this technique. I have used it to bring to me the things that I wanted, exactly the way that I envisioned.
Firstly, you have to decide exactly what it is that you want. Be specific about this! Please remember that you cannot make another person do something that they really don't want to do, & please do not visualise something harmful or bad happening to another person, as this may well backfire & cause ill effects to you! You are warned on that one!
It is important to have faith in the visualisation process & have faith in yourself. You can get exactly what it is that you want, really believe that, because it is true. Be positive; don't let doubts enter your mind. If a negative thought does enter you mind, then just dismiss it & replace it immediately with a positive one.
When you are performing this technique for the first few times, ensure that you are somewhere you wont be disturbed. As you get more used to it, you will find that you can perform this technique anywhere & whenever you want to.
THE TECHNIQUE
Decide what it is that you want to manifest in your life. Now sit or lie in a comfortable position, close your eyes, & completely relax. Regulate your breathing so that it is deep & slow breaths you are taking. Count down from 10 to 1, telling yourself that you are becoming more & more relaxed as you count down. Really feel your body relaxing.
When you feel yourself to be completely relaxed, start to imagine what it is that you want to receive entering your life. Envisage it EXACTLY as you would want it. Imagine the surroundings, the time of day, the little details that make up a complete picture. If you imagine people there, then imagine them interacting, the things they're saying etc. Make your picture real, imagine colours, smells, in fact, anything that makes it seem more real to YOU! Imagine how you Feel when you receive what it is that you want, in your mental picture. Spend at least a few minutes doing this, ( as you become more adept at this, you will find that your picture instantly comes to your mind! ). Keep a hold of the picture in your mind & tell yourself that this will happen. Make some positive affirmation about it. A popular affirmation that people say at this time is " this or something better, now manifests for me in totally satisfying & harmonious ways, for the good of all concerned ." You don't have to say that particular affirmation, you can substitute it for another positive one that you feel comfortable with, but that particular affirmation leaves room for the possibility that something even better than what you envisioned to occur in your life & re-iterates that your attentions are for the good of all.
Now open your eyes, & focus on your breathing for a brief moment, then stretch yourself or move around if you wish, & then just carry on with your day!

Please have patience, sometimes things happen within days, but it can take weeks, months or even years, for things to come about! It really depends on what it is that you want! If you have a problem trying to get yourself to relax fully, then it may be easier to perform creative visualization before you go to sleep or upon wakening, as it is at this times that we are most relaxed! Also, remember to be realistic with your visualizations - no matter how much you envisage it, you're never going to rule the world! Keep positive about it at all times & trust in yourself that it will happen.
